These Nanoparticles can detect your body temperature within the seconds

A huge step for the Nano thermometer production.

Since, the discovery of Nano particles, they have been used in the many applications regarding scientific researches. Whether, they are in the use of a filter equipment or being used as sensors which helps in the major research works and complex mechanisms.

What are Nanoparticles?

Nanoparticles (NPs), the particles which have very small size less than 100 nm. Initially, Nano particles were discovered by the scientist Xu et al. From the carbon source that is carbon Nano tube.

Role of NPs in the temperature detection

NPs shows convenient role in many applications. Initial sources of NPs were metallic/ carbon Nano tubes, such sources were used to produce Nano clusters, SQDs (Semi Conductor Quantum Dots) . Consequently, these products brought out with the miscellaneous good applications i.e. optimal imaging, bio imaging, detection of some lethal ions. But, their preparation steps were very sophisticated and toxicity levels seemed high and a long with it they did include high cost.

So, the scientists found a novel method to produce NPs from the facile source. Here plants, were used as the preparatory source which led to the green synthesis of NPs and that NPs was denoted with a name, Carbon Nanoparticles.
Recently, Scientists has discovered the indication/fluorescence properties of Carbon Nanoparticles under the influence of the temperature, inside the cell (A193 cells). So, there might be possibility to get some kind of Nano thermometer which will able to detect the body temperature of a person. Such phenomenon will displace the use of a normal thermometer. The positive point of these Nano particles is, they are non-toxic in nature and very easy to be produced. So, these derivative sources can make them cheap in cost if they will be discovered in the upcoming years, still many researches regarding Nano particles have to be done because we have only achieved 0.001% exploratory research of it.
